For larger breeds such as French Lops – British Giant – Flemish Giant etc… This 5ft large two storey winter rabbit hutch is made from Redwood and has two exterior graded hardwood ply base panels.
The roof is boarded with the same shiplap as the hutch and is constructed on the same principle as the traditional roof on a domestic house. Beneath the boarding is a polypropylene twin skin rigid membrane with an air gap to ensure extra warmth and a watertight construction. The air gap provides an insulating barrier inside the hutch to help prevent heat loss. We are the only company to provide this level of insulation as an integral part of our product. The roof also has a 3” (75mm) overhang to all sides.
We only use 1st class materials for an unbeatable build quality
The hutch is constructed from Swedish Redwood and is cladded on the outside with 12mm shiplap. The door frames are made out of a substantial 34mm x 46mm section and come with two solids boarded doors on the left and two wire doors on the right.
A winter rabbit hutch for maximum winter protection
All the wire aspects of this hutch are covered with removable winter panels. This is the ultimate hutch in terms of both light and security. It is entirely Predator safe rabbit hutch and offers the maximum wellbeing to your pet when the panels are fitted. It is the absolute in best of both worlds in allowing light into the hutch but also offering the maximum security to the upper and lower levels of the hutch especially through the night with the winter panels fitted. The left hand end of the top hutch is designated as the sleeping area and there is an internal divider that can easily be removed in seconds to allow you to clean the entire hutch throughout.
Locks included for extra security
The hutch’s solid doors come with black tower bolts and spring loaded catches on the wire door as well as a turn button for added security. The tower bolts are a standard feature on all solid doors but can be upgraded to padlock bolts for a nominal charge.
The hutch will come on 6” (150mm) legs as standard.

There are many variations of this hutch on the website to suit your budget and available space such as with a run on the rear or on top of a run too. Add-On Options
A Sliding Door Kit can be fitted to the upper floor so as to block off access to the ramp. E.g. when closed you can confine you bunny upstairs or downstairs.
A Hinged Rabbit Hutch Roof Kit can be added at the rear so that it will open and close like a lid. It has a bonnet like stay to keep it up, and a hasp and staple at the front so you can lock the rabbit hutch roof closed!
A Central Door Conversion Kit can convert any central fixed wire panel to a wire door. Although you can reach into this area through either of the end doors, the additional kit will allow fuller access to the middle area of the hutch.
Padlock Compatible Lock Upgrade. All solid doors have a tower bolt fitted. However you can have this bolt upgraded to a lockable version which will accommodate a padlock.
