We do not use couriers to deliver our products as we believe in a total service from construction to meeting our customers face to face. There is a delivery charge of £18.50 per total order whether your order is 1 or 100 items (applies to UK mainland only – certain areas will incur an additional fee). This payment includes assembly and a final silicone treatment after your product is completed, for additional protection against the elements.

Please note the optional tantalizing process may delay your expected delivery date.

Payment is only requested on delivery of your product. We will contact you personally about the item you wish to purchase from us following your order. An invoice will be provided to you on the day of delivery.

Add optional extras to your product, including a sliding door, hinged roof, or give your pet extra protection for the winter months. Click here to find out more.

Please note: It is up to you to indicate the quantity of each add-on individually on the order page, which will vary depending upon the hutch model you are ordering, so please double check!

For maximum protection, we can tanalise your product (a form of pressure treatment) to help give you up to 10 years without the worry from dry rot and normal decay typical to all outdoor wooden furniture.

Years ago all pressure treatment chemicals had an arsenic element in it. Even by law, you were not able to collect timber from treatment centers until 3 days had elapsed after the timber had come out of the treatment tanks, as it had to dry for that period.

These days the harmful arsenic chemicals used within the pressure treatment process have been made illegal under EU legislation, and are therefore banned for use within the UK.

All non-pressure treated products are finished with a Teak water based (non toxic) preservative. The timber should be re-coated with an equivalent preservative every year to ensure the maximum life span of the product.

Oil based coatings are the best as they tend to repel water before it penetrates the timber fibres.

Recoating is best undertaken on a warm dry day or even better after a dry spell when the timber has had time to dry enough to absorb the coating you are applying.

The final silicone treatment we add after we assemble your product, is a clear silicone spray that leaves a thin, clear, odourless film without leaving marks or stains. We do this even if you have pressure treated your item to give the wood fibers additional waterproofing protection.

The concept of our range of hutches is total flexibility with the ability to add additional component parts at any time. You are able to pick and mix the design of hutch that best suits your available space and pocket. You can always add to your hutch at a later date (an extra length of run, an additional Storage Box, or an upper storey for example.) What ever you want!

The Gable roof is one of the most unique choices we offer over other hutches on the market today. It has two roof surfaces of the same size, that are pitched at the same angle back to back, making a ridge at the top and forming a triangular roof. It effectively sheds water, allows for good ventilation, and provides the most space within the hutch.

The hutch roofs are felt lined on the inside and covered with an attractive cladding which promotes a unique style whilst providing a robust and durable surface. All the roofs in the range are fully detachable. The hutch exterior is constructed from 13 mm cladding with a solid 18 mm ply door and a larger wire door to the front elevation.

The runs are wire meshed on all sides with a doorway to the front and/or rear as appropriate. The run lids are completely removable as they are simply held in place by turn buttons. The lids as with the hutch fit into a rebated top strut in the run side panel which offers the total flexibility of putting the lids and hutch/s in any chosen position.

There are infinite designs that can be constructed from the aviary panels. The concept is simple and easy. The panels are of a uniform size so all you need to do is work out the overall dimensions you are looking for and give us a ring – or email us – and we will work out what panels you need.

But don’t worry about it all fitting together we will come down and build it for you as part of the price.

The mesh is a standard 25mm (1″) by 12mm (1/2″) 19 gauge galvanized wire. The panels are 1900mm (75″) high with a plywood kick panel at the bottom. The entrance door can either be a half height or full height. However depending on the size of the structure you might prefer to have an outer and inner door combination.

There are three lengths of Ornamental Bridge, 1.2m, (4ft) 1.5m (5ft) and 1.8m (6ft) long (approx). The walk bridges begin at 2.1m (7ft) and can extend to about 4.8m. The widths and hand rail heights are standard in context with the length. Larger bridges are built on site at the pond or brook and there will be some extra costs involved in the preparation and any ground work. It is recommended that larger bridges are tanalised as this will save you the heartache of re-coating the timbers each year.

We are happy to conduct a site visit to advise on details of the bridge. Often with longer bridges it is best to do a survey, although we do charge a nominal fee.

Please note that our range of Ornamental Bridges and Ornamental bridge platforms are for ornamental purposes only. We do not recommend that they are used as a means of passage. Persons crossing do so at their own risk. Please see our range of foot bridges which are specifically designed for this purpose.

Here’s a bit of a tip – get yourself an atomizer spray (the sort you do your indoor plant leaves with). Most DIY shops sell what’s called a waterproofing agent. Thompson’s Water seal is a brand name but “B&Q” do their own brand. Fill the atomizer with it and spray over the external surfaces of the product a couple of times a year. It’s really quick and easy!

Don’t forget to wear appropriate mask and gloves. Follow the Health and safety instructions on the container.
