Frequently asked questions
Can ferrets live in a standard rabbit hutch?
No, a standard rabbit hutch is usually not secure enough for a ferret. Ferrets are incredibly agile and can squeeze through small gaps, dig under shallow wire, or chew through flimsy latches. Our dedicated ferret cages use reinforced weld mesh and heavy-duty sliding bolt locks specifically to prevent escapes.
Are your small pet houses suitable for winter?
Yes, they are constructed from thick, interlocking Scandinavian timber that naturally insulates the enclosure. For pets that are highly sensitive to cold, such as tortoises, the enclosures are designed to easily accommodate the installation of heat lamps or thermal matting.
